I was most thankful for hand warmers, an ice-scraper, and new snow tires this past weekend when I drove to eastern Washington in hopes of seeing a Snowy Owl. With only a month and a half of this year left, looking back I think I’ve done a pretty good job finding birds in my 5 mile radius.
